VihariSai
I got an offer and new employer is ready to initiate a H1b transfer. But, the new employer is asking to travel out of country before joining. Is it necessary in my case to travel ? Below are my details. Converted from F1 to H1B H1B Approval -- 02/2019 TO 09/2021 Traveled to home country twice before 09/2021 and got my Visa stamped (Till 09/2021). I-140 Approved Approval received on 06/2020 with a priority date of 10/2019 H1b Extension with current employer Got Approval from 06/2021 to 03/2024. Quote Link to comment
Attorney_24
Generally, travel is recommended if the Beneficiary has not maintained valid nonimmigrant status in the U.S. or if the H-1B Petition has been approved for Consular Processing. If there has not been any status violation, you can check with the employer on the specific reason for travel. Quote Link to comment
