F1toH1BStudent Posted October 6, 2023 Report Share Posted October 6, 2023 My friend’s employer got NOIR, they and their lawyer suggested him to change of status to f1 and meanwhile they will reply back to uscis Employer recive notice on Sep 7( don’t know when it was created as he don’t have the copy) He have not applied for change of status( in process by lawyer) Today he checking his H1b status on uscis and it mentioned that it was revoked on Sep 30 What are his options now to stay in country in legal status as his visa is revoked now What are the chances that he will be approved for change to F1. If not what are the chances if he gets married with a H1B holder and apply for H4. Quote Link to comment

There may be some options moving forward but they should really speak with an immigration attorney to devise a specific strategy. Quote Link to comment
