h1bdropbox Posted July 14, 2011 Report Share Posted July 14, 2011 Hi, I was working on H1B until Feb 2011. I then went out of country and returned back on H4 last month. I got a job offer and my new company filed for my H1. The company lawyers informed that I can start work as soon as I get the receipt from USCIS. I got the receipt on June 30th and I started work last week. I filled the I9 form and my emmployer filled the details in E-verify system, entering the I94 number that I received on my arrival on H4. Now my company got the DHS TNC Notice saying information not matching. I am very confused what the reason for this was. Is it because the DHS records were not updated then about my application for H1? Or something else? Can someone please let me know? Link to comment
