Regarding Reentry to the USA while amendment is in process

Hi all,

My extension was approved in the month of May 2023 and approved until 2026. After my extension approval, I moved to Home New address. my employer filed for amendment (for my home address change) and received receipt in the month of August 2023.

So, amendment for location change is in process.

I am still working for the same company same client and on the same role.

Last week, I unintentionally crossed the USA border (at Niagara Falls) and had to reappear at POE. They issued me a new I94 based on the extension approval notice. And the new I94 now is valid until my extension expiration date in 2026.

Here are my questions and would be great if someone chime in and help me in understanding.

1. What happens to my amendment petition ( as it was filed with old I94)..?

2. Do I need to apply for amendment as I received new I-94?
