nallanitish
Hi, My PERM was filed when I was a Senior last year. I got promoted to Manager in June and my PERM got approved last month. Now, they are filing for my I-140. Would adding additional job responsibilities like supervisory duties to my I-140 application cause any issues or delays for my process? Thank you! Attorney_20
If the Manager job is different from the Senior job, a new PERM would need to be done to test the labor market for the Manager position. The company could still file the I-140 for the Senior job since it is for a future position, but if you intend to file a green card application (I-485) based on the Manager position, a new PERM/I-140 needs to be done for that new job.
