I'm indian born citizen but my wife she is Gulf born indian citizen. is there any other way that i can start the GC Process or can i do self filing for the GC process. Quote Link to comment
Attorney_20 Posted September 15 Report Share Posted September 15 The only self filing option would be an EB1 based on extraordinary ability, which requires the applicant to have "sustained national/international acclaim" in their field. If your spouse was born in another country, when you do apply for green cards, you will not have to wait for the visa bulletin in India; you can use your spouse's country of birth for the green card filing which would probably shave many years off the wait time.
