DUI Reduced to reckless on h1b

Hi,

 

I had dui charge on June 2023 and reduces to reckless driving last month and completed the classes. I have existing stamping till November 2025. I heard existing stamping will be revoked after dui charge and I haven’t received any correspondence regarding stamping revocation, do I need to still go for stamping if i need to travel before November 2025. I never had any other charge and my i140 is approved.

If the visa has not been revoked, you can still use it until November 2025.  State Department may revoke visas in these cases but not always.

We would expect you to receive an email notifying you of the revocation, but it is not always the case. It is possible that the fact of your DUI arrest may not come to light until you travel and that your visa may be revoked at that time.
