Mom traveled to India & received GC. Will returning, she has to follow expiry date on travel document OR utilize Green card?

Hello Murty.com,

My Mother traveled from the USA to India on June 14, 2023, with her Travel Document (which will expire on Oct 19, 2023). After going to India, she got her Green Card approved, on which it says "Valid from Dec 2022".

Now Does She have to return to the USA before her Travel document expires?
(OR)

Could she stay in India till Dec 10, 2023 (based on her new Green card status)? Please Advise.
