Great100
Hi My I 485 was denied while I was out of country however H1B visa was valid. Now H1B visa is expired. What options do I have to travel back to US and apply for I 485 again? Quote Link to comment
Attorney_6
Generally, in order to apply for an I-485 Adjustment of status application individual would need to be within the U.S. in a valid status, such as H1B. In instances where there has already been a denial I would recommend you speak to one of our attorneys regarding the cause for denial, your status and background, and decide how to best proceed forward. Great100
Cause of denial was I was out of country wherein I should have been in US. In order to get H1B, do I need to get it fresh or can I get extension on expired H1B visa? Quote Link to comment
