Abhi1212 Posted July 31, 2023 Report Share Posted July 31, 2023 I am a STEM-OPT student and it was about to end in March 2024. In March 2023, I filed 6 applications for the H-1B lottery. Out of them 2 of them are sister companies which I wasn’t aware of initially. During the first lottery, Two applications got selected and those applications are from the two sister companies. For a reason, they decided not to proceed with the filing. So we ended up not filing. Now during the second lottery, one is selected. The selected one is not related to either of the two sister companies. This is a different one. Is it a good thing to proceed with this new one or will there be any issues? Quote Link to comment
