Sashmita Posted July 28, 2023 Report Share Posted July 28, 2023 Hi, I am in H4 EAD. I have 2 small kids. I went through DV last year. Our GC is supposed to be done last year. Medical is done last year May end 2022. I am waiting for GC from last year. I dismissed the DV case. Now husband came back to the house after a year living outside. I am trying to get admission in an University to get F1 visa, just in case he will fill for Divorce and I may loose my status. My Question is, Is it a good idea to change my status now to F1 right away? Will I loose my GC by doing that? What are my options? Can I start studying in my H4 and change to F1 later?
