Consulate Notified In the H1 extension premium email

Hello All,

I have received my H1 extension premium email from attorney in that email consulate notified mentioned as Chennai.

does that mean I will not receive i94 in my 797?

visa  2016 Expired in the old passport and applied extension with new passport.

My i94 still valid until NoV 22 2023.

 

what Weill be my options here ?

The mere fact that a consulate is listed on the Premium Processing eMail approval notice does not mean that the H1B has been approved for consular notification. You will need to review the  original I-797 approval notice. Note, that if the H1B Petition has been filed for an extension of status and USCIS has questions about whether the H1B Beneficiary has maintained her/his status, a request for evidence or notice of intent to deny is generally issued first.
