Anurag1012
Hello, Based on the receipt noticed we got for concurrent filing, my father's application seems to be at the National Benefits Center. (Biometrics done in Dec 2022) While checking for processing times, it shows that for National Benefits Center the timeline for I-130 petition to be approved is 50 months. That is an awfully long time for processing for immediate relatives. We also have not received the advance parole(I-131) and the processing time for that seems to be 11.5 months. Anybody in the same boat ? Does it really take that long ? Quote Link to comment
Attorney_16
It is frustrating as the National Benefits Center does not post their processing times for the I-485. We see most parents get their green card in 1 year to 1.5 years (I-130/I-485 approved). A parent is not required to have an interview at a local USCIS office, but they can still get an interview and then the processing time is based on the local office. It is true that the AP can take 9-12 months. Quote Link to comment
