EAD extension filing. Just before travelling. Will USCIS considers it if Travelling after the application is Sent to them.

travelling to India. Trying to file Standalone EAD extension.  have vaild I797 but will be going for visa stamping.  Going in a week. Will my case be considered by USCIS once its delivered or Do i need ot wait for receipt notice to travel. How long it will take for receipt notice.

An individual must be in the United States when the EAD extension is physically received by USCIS. Thereafter, they can travel outside the US, even if the receipt notice is issued after the individual has departed.
