H-4 extension acknowledgement issue

Hi Team, I am currently experiencing following issue and need clarity on my current situation:-

My H-4 dependent I94 is currently valid till 06/10/2023 and attorney filled H-4 extension on 04/05/2023 along with mine H1b extension and I received my receipt notice also.

When I reached out to attorney for H-4 receipt as I did not receive any communication from uscis at my mailing address till 05/22/2023 also attorney confirmed that there was no action on filling fee cheque.

Hence attorney re-filled H-4 petition on 05/22/2023 and given my details (email&phone) for notification and also confirmed that package has been received at uscis on 05/23/2023 but till 05/26/2023 I have not received any notification and when he I reached out to attorney he asked me to wait till early next week to verify any action on fee cheque before any further action.

My question is - As my dependents I94 expiration date is approaching what are options left for me if uscis did not made any action on fee cheque or received any notification on email or phone, can my dependents stay after 0610/2023 in USA or they have to travel back?

Please let me know if anyone faces this situation or had any knowledge on current situation it will be great help as I am really worried my dependents status.
