maheshraj84 Posted May 17, 2023 Report Share Posted May 17, 2023 I am currently working as a physician on H1B, current approval is until Aug 31 2023. I am going to India July - Aug. I have a visa appt to get stamping done. My H1b extension has already been filed but didnt receive extension notice yet. If I get my new I797 prior to my visa appt and get new visa will I be stopped at port of entry as my next H1B petition would be from Sep 1 and my date of entry is more than 10 days prior to that ?
