H1B Transfer from Consulting to Full Time

Hi All,

I have arrived in the US on 1st of March through a consultancy and they have started running my payroll from 1st of April. 

I got a fulltime job offer and want to change my employer. Will there be any issue if I change my employer in less than 3 months after I came to the US?

What did you do from March 1 through April 1?

While the law is that you have up to 30 days to report to work, as soon as you do report to work, e.g., for training, the employer has to pay you.

If you get paid properly you can of course change jobs just fine.
