Plano23 Posted May 6, 2023 Report Share Posted May 6, 2023 I have dropped off my H4 Non-Immigrant VISA appointment with required documents at the US Consulate, Chennai. After 2 days i see my visa status "visa refused" & the below message along with it. I haven't got any email or letter explaining why my visa was refused. What should i do in this case to progress towards getting the H4 visa stamped? Does calling or emailing the consulate will give answer to why my visa was refused? If yes, where i can i find the email id to communicate for US consulate in chennai, India? Background : I'm in H4 visa for long-time & i have received stamping from chennai consulate in the past few years. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A U.S. consular officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application.
