SVSin
Hi, My father had applied for family-based AOS in March of 2022, concurrently with my I-130 petition. His biometrics were done in May of 2021. In February this year, he received a notification from USCIS to send his medical reports by express mail to the field office. It has been almost 4 weeks since he sent his reports to the USCIS office as per instructions but we haven't heard anything from them. How long does it take the USCIS to respond in such a case? Also, can we expect an interview date soon from here? Thank you Quote Link to comment
Attorney_16
There are not mandatory interviews for parents of USCs; however, the USCIS is permitted to call anyone in for an interview. While I-485 times for the National Benefits Center are not always posted, you can always try following up with USCIS or contact your Congressperson to follow up through their immigration liaison.
