Can I change jobs and get new H-1B if 180 days has not passed since Successor In Interest I-140 approval ?

Recommended Posts

I am on H-1B visa. I have an I-140 approved with Company A since 2019. Company B acquired Company A as a "Successor In Interest" and I got I-140 from Company B (same priority date as Company A I-140) "last month". Now I got offer from Company C and I have the following questions:

1. Can Company C apply H-1B for me even if 180 days haven't passed since second I-140 ? In other words, can I use the original 2019 I-140 to apply for H-1B going forward ?
2. Is my priority date still retained if I join Company C ?
