She doesn't know how to speak English and two times she was told something by the translator that she didn't understand. (She is a single parent, my father expired in 2015) This time, I want to go with her to have an appointment together so I can talk to the consular officer if needed. I have an H1B visa that expires in April 2024 (the petition is valid until Feb 2025). Can I apply for a B2 visa appointment with her? Will this affect my H1B in any way?
