is it required to apply for second time extension ? even though

Hello,

We applied for an extension of our B2 visa and requested status be extended until (mm/dd/yyyy) 06-01-2023, which is 22 days more than the usual approval of 182 days and the current application is still pending, we are leaving the country on 5/28/2023, do we need to apply for another extension even though we have requested the status extension until the end of the month? but it exceeds by a few days of 180 days period.

If we need to apply for a second time it would be just for 22 more days.

Please suggest.

will uscis ever issue approval for more than 182 days for b2 extension?  it takes another 1year to get approval for my application. If we leave on may 28th, will uscis give until the the departed date on approval ?  Usually uscis gives approval until departed date if the application is processed after the applicant left the country.
