deepakdevswaroop
If you are laid off from job while on L1A visa, what's the grace period we get after the termination date to stay in the US? Quote Link to comment
JoeF
Up to 60 days. Entering "L1 grace period" into Google would have told you that. The first result is from USCIS. Edited April 4, 2023 by JoeF Quote Link to comment
Attorney_10
If an individual in L-1 status loses status due to the cessation of employment, the individual will be given a grace period of either 60 days or until the end of the individual’s original authorized L-1 validity period, whichever is shorter. Every case is different. Therefore, prior to taking any specific action it is advisable to speak with an experienced U.S. immigration attorney as there are nuances to any situation and approach. https://www.murthy.com/client-services/hire-us/ Quote Link to comment
