Global Entry Application Related Question

Hello, my USA visa stamp on my passport is expired, but I have valid extended I797A approval notice until 2025.  So, would like to know, if I can enter I797A receipt number instead of Visa number at Visa Number column in the Global Entry application?

No. it's I-797, not a visa

You can still try, risk is just $100 application fee.....well worth if you're spending lot of time at CBP and for clearing at-least 2-3 times a month. 

Try TSA pre, less hassle.

I am pretty sure you need the visa. You can't use Global Entry without having a visa when you enter, anyway.

TSA Pre is only for speeding up checking in at US airports.

Global Entry is for speeding up arrival checks when flying in from other countries. No standing in line, it usually takes me a minute to get through immigration. But then, you ha e to wait for your bags...
