Company B is ready to file L1b - H1B with COS for me and quite confident about getting that approved. Suppose if they get it approved with a start date as 1st Nov 2011 and I don't want to join them. I know it is illegal for me to work for company A on L1b status after 31st Oct. Now here are my few question: 1. If I like the opportunity in company C then what kind COS company C has to file for me: a. L1b of Company A to H1b of Company C - as at that time I would be on L1b status. In this case should my H1 visa will be exempted from the 2011 year's cap? b. H1b of Company B to H1b of company C - In this case how things work as I never worked for Comapny B. 2. Can company C use the H1b visa which got approved thru company B. 3. In my situation, Can company B file my H1 visa without COS even though I am in US. 4. What would be difference in terms of total charges if Company B files my H1b visa with and without COS. Link to comment
