helpseeker11
I am an Indian citizen working in Canada as Permanent resident, In the past , I worked in US and had my I-140 approved in 2019. As I'm Planning to apply for Canadian citizenship and once I become a citizen, and eventually if I wanted to move back to US, Am I allowed to come back on h1b as my I-140 is approved?Does change in your citizenship affect your I-140 in any ways. Can an employer pick up my h1b as I am Cap-exempted and enter back to the US? Any amendment required to GC as a result of citizenship change. Please advise. Thank You!! Attorney_15
A change in citizenship generally has no impact on an I-140 Petition and would not change H1B eligibility. Quote Link to comment
