pk7782 Posted January 26 Report Share Posted January 26 Hello I got my H1 extension approved in Jan 2022. We filed an amendment in Nov 2022 (only change is salary increase, everything else remains same). I have visa stamping in May 2023, however, approved I797A for amended petition is not received yet. Looks like it’s lost in transit. We have I797C confirming the approval and dates for which the petition is approved. We are working to get duplicate approval copy from USCIS, however, do not expect to receive it by May 2023. Also, I am not able to reschedule my visa appointment. Can I go to stamping with I797A (with that of Jan 2022) and I797C (with that of Nov 2022)?. The I94 dates for both are the same. Thank you Quote Link to comment
