rshad
Hello, My parents had to overstayed in the US due to Covid related travel ban. I-539 was filed well in advance, and got the approval notice after they left USA. Now, we are trying to get their US tourist visa (B-2) renewed (drop box). How should we answer the following question on DS-160? Will it be "No" because the I-539 got approved? Have you ever been unlawfully present, overstayed the amount of time granted by an immigration .official or otherwise violated the terms of a U.S. visa Thanks! Quote Link to comment
JoeF
If an I-539 was timely filed they were legal and did not overstay. Quote Link to comment
