Has anyone applied for H4 visa in canada? Currently it looks like it is a dropbox not interview.

I'm an Indian citizen currently on H1B, which will expire in Feb 2023 after eight years in USA F1(2014-16) - H1(2016-23).

I am relocating to Toronto in Jan 2023 and I'm planning on applying for H4 visa (regular not EAD version). 

  1. Has anyone applied for H4 visa in Toronto? Is it a dropbox?
  2. I heard the only documents needed are Spouse I797 (photo copy), employment letter, proof of marriage 

Has anyone done this way before?
