parkerjohn03
Hi, I have been with my current employer since 2010. They filed my perm in Nov 2012 and I-140 was approved . My PD was Nov,2012. I continued with them till 2019 ( worked for 9 years straight). I moved out of US in 2020 and worked in different country. My PD became current in 2022 so I moved back to US with same employer as my employer was ready to file my I-140 again (and retained my old PD which was NOV 2012) along with I-485. They filed concurrent case ( I-140+485+765+131+Medical) in Feb/ March 2022. My I-140 was approved again (second time with same emp) in May 2022 and than subsequently I received my GC in July 2022. I have been with my employer from 2010 till date. Now, I am getting another good offers from different employer. How long should i continue with my current employer after getting GC ? Is there any law which requires for employee to stay with employer for 180 days ? if I quit now, would there be any consequences now or later during applying for citizenship ? since my second i-140 was approved in may 2022, Do i need to follow 180 days rules in this case? Please share your input/advice. Thank you Quote Link to comment
