Check2511 Posted December 1, 2022 Report Share Posted December 1, 2022 Hi, My current i797 and I94 are valid till Jan 29th 2023. But my stamped visa has expired as I have completed 6 years on H1B. I have I-140 approved. My H1B extension is approved as well, starting from Jan 30th 2023. I am hoping to get my Visa stamped (Dropbox) with the new i797 sometime in December 2023. The US entry says we can travel 10 days before the job petition date. Question: Can I enter US around 15th January when my old i797 is still valid and I have my new visa stamped?? Or can I only travel 10 days before the new i797 based on which the Visa is extended/stamped. Quote Link to comment
