PremkumarP Posted December 1, 2022 Report Share Posted December 1, 2022 Hi I am in H1B on second 3 years term and my current 797 expires in Sep 2023 but my visa expired in 2019 Dec. I am not went to India after 2019. My PERM currently filed in Aug 2022 and followed by I140 and then renewal (both in prem processing) between Apr-Jun 2023 expected to happen. I have started filling up DS 160 for me and my family to visit India in next year summer between Jun-Aug 2023, questions are, 1) Can I fill and book appointment with current 797 and can i show new 797 during my interview for stamping ? 2) Or do I need to fill another DS 160 when my renewal comes ? 3) Or I need to wait till my renewal to schedule an appointment ? 4) My current expired visa have an annotation of "clearance received" but my family H4 visas are not annotated. can i have schedule all as a one interview or separately my family for H4 drop box ? I need to visit to my parents ASAP as I am not went to India after 2019 Aug. Please provide your feedback. Greatly appreciated your opinions. Quote Link to comment
