Urgent: Administrative query 221(g) white slip

I'm working for a MNC in hyderabad & they have filed for H1B last year - 2021. My petition was picked and also I qualified for drop box and submitted the required docs at VAC Chennai, after a week i received an 221 g administrative query (from Chennai Consulate) asking me to appear for in-person interview and submit the client letter along with few documents (pay slips, form 16,LCA,) and CLIENT LETTER.

I was working for a US client while my petition was filed in March 2021, but currently i'm working for the same client with one of its operating company in europe.  

Now, my company cannot issue a client letter from the US client as they do not have a position at onsite.

I'm pretty worried as i cannot get a client letter from US client.

Also, can i walk in into any of the VFS ? or only Chennai, should i book a slot for interview?

kindly advise/guide.
