It is now expired and no plans on reviving it though. Now, my son (17 years and US citizen) got university admission in the US and need to join in Fall 2023. When I applied for B1/B2, I got the consular visa appointment in June2024. My question is, given my situation, can I request emergency consular appointment so that I can accompany my son to the US and return after arranging his housing and other admission formalities.
