Hi,

Anybody who applied h1 in premium Processing in Vermont with receipt date on or after august 22 heard any updates from vsc?

Those who have aug 22 as receipt will have 15 th calendar day on 5th September which happens to be labor day(holiday). For this date, 13, 14 and 15 days from the receipt date will fall on longweek end( Saturday, Sunday and Monday), so do they push to Tuesday September 6 if nothing heard from Vsc by Friday night

VSC has become extremely slow and taking longer than 15 days for some PP applicants. Hurricane Irene might have slowed VSC even more since Vermont had extensive damage so they might not be fully staffed if some employees got homes flooded, etc Summer is also holiday season so people take vacation time.

All that means delays in an already heavily backlogged VSC. VSC also likely has more applications than other centers since there is huge immigrant populations in north-east who have to apply at VSC.

If they are taking more than 15 days then what is the use of going for premium processing? Are u sure people are getting decisions even after 15 days?

Anybody who is waiting for decision with 22 august receipt date, please post here.
