Last Name Change in minors passport

Hi, I recently corrected few letters in my last name in my indian passport after publishing it in the new papers.

I want to change the my kid's last names in their indian passports with new name which i corrected in my passport.

How can I do that? Again do i need to publish in the newspaper? Or, it is just enough to send the copy of my new passport with my kids re-issue passport application.
