Knowledge_Seeker_008 Posted August 23, 2011 Report Share Posted August 23, 2011 Filed H-1B transfer under premium processing to a Full-Time employer on 08/15 however still have not received the receipt number inspite of the check being cashed-out the same day. Does it usually take that more than a week these days to get the receipt? Link to comment
nnnnn Posted August 23, 2011 Report Share Posted August 23, 2011 It is ok i belive...i had same situation....USCIS is not good in sending Reciept emails i think...i applied on Aug 1oth...my reciept date is Aug 11th..Got the hard copy of receipt yesterday(8/22). indian_007 Posted August 23, 2011 Report Share Posted August 23, 2011 The hard copy of the receipt takes some time to reach the attorney. However, your attorney should have got an email with the receipt # within 2 - 3 days after filing. Link to comment
freephoneid Posted August 23, 2011 Report Share Posted August 23, 2011 Hi, My H1 transfer filed on 13-Aug-11 to full time employer in CA service center & got the receipt number (that starts with WAC) in email on the same day but till date, no updates on the case at all. USCIS is taking $1000 extra for premium process & not doing anything, huh??? Link to comment

My H1 transfer filed on 26-July-11 to full time employer in CA service center & got the receipt number (that starts with WAC) on 08/02but till date, no updates on the case at all. I am upgrading to premium in this week... Hopefully they will respond sooner... I understand they are taking $1200 for no reason... Link to comment

However, it's been 7 days now and the USCIS website status still shows acceptance and hasn't moved onto Initial Review. Is it the same for you guys? I am in the same boat. My attorney hasn't even received a copy of the receipt notice yet. The docs were sent on 8/11 so, it's well past 2 weeks. Even the approval occurred 6 days ago and no sign of approval notice. They charge $1225 and can't even send mails on time. It is quite frustrating. Link to comment

Mine was Process : Regular Center : Vermont Date of Online Approval : 05 AUG 2011 Date of Receipt of Hard Copy: Still Waiting. H1b Submission date : 08/15/2011 (Overnight delivery) H1B receipt date : 08/23/2011 Current Status : Acceptance. Offer type : Full time offer. Joining date was 08/29/2011. Moved to 09/12/2011.
