140 approved. EB3 to EB2. Completed masters from US

Hi everyone,

I got my i-140 approved now(june 16,2011) in eb3.

my labour was applied in Aug ,2010.

I have done 3 years bachelors and 2 years masters from india.

I have 9 years of experience

Also, I have completed my masters from united states in one year (some of the credits are transferred from my previous masters). I have completed my masters from tier 1 university.

Can i apply from eb3 to eb2.

if i apply in eb2 and get rejected. will i loose my i-140 from eb3.

I donot want to wait for very long time for my PD to be current.

Is it recommended to take the risk.

Please advice. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
