B2 - extension stay filing twice for parents

[SP41]

My mother, an Indian citizen had applied for  extension of B2 stay in March 2022 and had her biometrics done in April 2022. Her I94 was expiring in May 2022.

No decision on  extension yet?

Can she apply for another extension in Oct 2022 ?  
To show financial support in US, her son’s bank statement will be provided. 
Also proof of medical insurance will be submitted.

Please advice can she apply for another extension of stay while previous one is pending.

Generally, a B2 can not be extended past 1 year.
