Green card Last name and Indian Passport Last name mismatch

My wife recently got her green card through marriage and her GC has "Marriage based last name" and her Indian Passport still has her original "Maiden Last name".  With this, we have an upcoming travel to India in 3 weeks.  Traveling to India should not be a problem, but coming back to US will she face issues at port of entry with the name mismatch?  I found an article on a similar topic back in 2014, so I'm hoping travel should not be a problem?  Has anyone been in this situation?
