H4 EAD automatic extension with previous company H4 approval and new company H4 is still pending

Hi, I recently moved from company A to company B and my new employer filed H4 and H4 EAD for my wife along with my H1B. My H1B was approved a month ago but H4 and H4 EAD are still not approved and pending. 

My wife's H4 which was filed by my previous employer A, was approved and is valid until 2025. With this approval can she get the H4 EAD automatic extension or do we need to wait for new employer H4 approval?
