One Job Ad for 2 people vs. two job ad for 2 people - for PERM

Hi All - need your help/input on my case.

My company was planning to start my GC process by submitting a PERM in EB2 (MS degree from US) and hence were preparing the Job Description. They have 2 people (including me) for whom they would be filling the PERM.

Company's HR is saying that they will only prepare one job description for both of us because both of us have almost the same technical skill set, educational background (MS from US), and meet the job requirement (with one of us having 1-2 years more experience)

Can someone please clarify/help on what is the best or what path shall we take from the below two options:

1. Force HR to prepare 2 separate Ad's for each of our PERM or

2. Go with the HR, have just one Ad for both of us, and depict as multiple openings for the position.

Any help/clarification on this would be highly appreciated.

Is there any specific reason to go with HR and not with the option # 1.?

Just want to be sure that our case does not get in problem once we get it into it.
