visibleus
My question is about green card reinstatement and options available. Summary - I got employment based GC in Sept 2014 (Validity: Sept 2014 to Sept 2024). I moved back to India in Dec 2015 due to family health issues and other reasons. Now I'm back in US (June 2022) on a visitor visa after 6+ years. I want to stay here and wanted to know if the GC can be reinstated? I still have US address where my mails are received even today. What are my options? Quote Link to comment
JoeF
That GC is gone. You actually have to live in the US to keep the GC valid. It is called Permanent Residence for a reason. You would have to start over from scratch. Edited August 2, 2022 by JoeF Quote Link to comment
