H1B Transfer to a new company while H1B extensions RFE yet to be answered

Hi,

We just started my H1B extension with my employer and due to some employer issues, I received RFE.

My employment model is Employer-client model. At this point can I transfer my H1B visa to new employer by keeping the same client while my current H1B extension RFE yet to be answered? is this going to have any issues with my transfer or with my current H1B extension with my current employer. Please advice.
