Can H4 work remotely from USA on Indian Payroll

Hi,

 

I will be traveling to the US on H4 visa in the month of July
I am currently working for Indian (US based company) and my manager is OK with me working remotely from the US on Indian Payroll with an overlap of 4 hrs during IST.
He is also checking with his onsite partner on the feasibility.
My employer might be filling my L1 visa after 3-4 months.

I would like your input. Can I work from the US on Indian Payroll and there will be no financial transaction in the US.
Currently my GC is current with priority date in Nov 2011, will there be any impact on my GC process?

As moved out of US and cannot process my GC and once L1 is approved, I will submitting my I-485

No. That is not allowed. While in the US on H4 you can NOT work AT ALL. It doesn't matter where the company is located, it doesn't matter that you don't get paid in the US. it matters where YOU are located. On H4 in the US you can NOT work. Period.
