I downgraded my I140 from EB2 to EB3 in October 2020 and both my EB2 and EB3 I140s were approved and I received my EAD. My GC priority date is current under both EB2 and EB3. My attorney did interfiling to use EB2 I-140 and submitted 485J . Can I switch jobs now and work for a new employer or do I need to wait 6 more months since I did my interfiling on Feb 2022? I also received case updates last week that my I-485 case has been transferred to another office and another jurisdiction. We received transfer notice that case has been transferred to NBC center MO. Can you please let me know if it's safe to switch to EAD and work for another employer. I am still waiting for advanced parole extension approval. Quote Link to comment
