Impact of India travel when H4 Extension filed along with H4 EAD renewal is pending with USCIS

I've filed for my H4 extension and H4 EAD renewal together and both the applications are pending with USCIS. Due to some family commitments, I have to travel to India soon.
If I travel to India, can I get the stamping done? What happens to my H4 Extension and H4 EAD renewal applications that are pending with USCIS?

Note: My spouse's H1B extension has been approved and received I-797 approval copy.
