GC EA D to H4 EAD

Hello,

I was working on H4 EAD till August 2021,  my H4 extension was not approved on time. So I started using GC EAD ( got it during  Dec 2020 downgrade from Eb2 to Eb3) , now the GC EAD already expired in Dec 2021 , and am working on a 180 days auto extension which expires in June 2022. 

My GC EAD and AP applications got stuck in TSC. Don't think I will get a decision before June 2022.  

In the meantime my H4 and H4 EAD both got approved in October 2021 with validity from July 2021- July 2024. Is it possible to switch back to H4?  

To Switch back to H4, may I know the process?

1.       Simply fill I-9 form with new H4 EAD card and submit to employer?

2.       Should I travel to India and get my H4 stamping and continue my job in the US using an already approved H4 EAD?

 If I do this will my I485, I765, I131 be abandoned?

Note: 

My Spouse- primary still on H1b

I-485 , I 765 and I-131 are under process for both of us in TSC.
