If your sponsoring employer no longer supports your petition, it may need to be resubmitted. In the event that your employer or position has changed substantially, your petition must be resubmitted. Therefore, the USCIS will reevaluate your eligibility for an H-1B visa. Does changing jobs affect your H-1B visa? Does the H-1B need to be amended regardless of the employer?
