sidharth07
Hi All My wife's I-485 was initially filed at TCS ( receipt date 23 March). On 29th Aug, it was moved to NCS. Given the large number of application at TCS, this was understandable. Now it has been moved again to a USCIS office. here's the status: --------- "The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to upda" ---- Any idea whats happening to this application? 2) Is this normal or there is extra scrutiny in this case? My PD got current in march. Guru's/Belle- pls advice regds Link to comment

Shurap1
The case is transferred to local USCIS office and possibly you may get a call for interview and if the visas are available the case could be immediately approved after the interview. Link to comment
